Work From Home

I am in no way an expert on this...but these are a few of the sites I have found:

ChaCha

ChaCha (not Cha-cha, cha cha, or Chacha. Always ChaCha)
Is basically where someone texts a question from their cell, and you answer it. ChaCha has specific requirements as far as the answers (Can only use certain sites to get answers, certain formats for answers). You get paid per answer (.02-.20) or there is a new point system as well, but I am not as familiar with that. This will not be your main source of income, but if you're looking for some extra gas money this is for you. I have all my earnings put on a debit card for a $2 fee. You choose your hours, great for nap time!
You do have to pass a test to work for them, my best advice: READ THE PRE-TEST INFORMATION THOROUGHLY! THEN RE-READ IT! The forum is excellent. Read, read, read! Those guys know how to ChaCha, and can tell you all the tips and tricks.

Wanna make me happy? Awesome, when you fill out the registration, put MYSPIRAL@AOL.COM as your referral. I will be your bestest friend ever. I'll get you a pony, I swear.

QuickTate

I haven't joined this one yet, I'm working on making my typing faster. But, from what I can tell, after you pass a test, you transcribe voicemails into emails. You pick your own hours, and get paid per word. If they have enough work for you, and you type 50wpm, then it is possible for you to make $5-$7/hr.

LeapForce at Home

Search engine evaluator. From what I've heard you can get paid $12-14/hr, but you have to pass a 2 part test. They send you a HUGE training manual (.pdf) and take the first 1/2 of the test. If you pass that, you get the 2nd part...make sure you set aside a LOT of time. You need to finish the 2nd part in one sitting, and have to evaluate 150 questions. Unfortunately, my 2 yr old decided to wake up, so I had to rush a little bit (plus he dumped cookies on my laptop, and threw my mouse....not the quiet calm atmosphere I wanted to take a test in!).
They do send an email saying you are not the correct match at this time, so maybe they call you back if they want people who don't do so well on tests :(
